Fall Party

For several years now my aunt & uncle have been hosting an annual fall party and it has become one of the highlights of the season. They have a beautiful country setting just perfect for bon fires, hot cider, and romping through the leaves. We had a tasty spread of potluck treats, a fall gift exchange game, a haunted trail through the woods, and plenty of fun times chatting around the fire. Miles loves it because there is a yard full of toys and a whole slew of cousins to play with.

By the bon fire.

Haunted Trail by Night

We did the haunted trail by day first just in case we weren't ready to do it in the dark. However, Miles had no problem with the dark trail.

Casey took Miles to get a plate & I overheard him telling Miles to live it up because this was one time when it was okay to eat junk. Miles came back with carrot sticks with apple and pear slices. His choice. He even balked at the caramel fruit dip. He did have a tad of junk for dessert though.

I just had to throw in a random picture of these cupcakes that my cousin made because they were so adorable.
